The 19th Annual CIO&Leader Conference is themed around The Practical CIO. The theme is derived from the changing expectations from the CIO.

Today’s CIO is no more just a problem solver. Rather, he/she is expected to identify new opportunities for business leveraging technology, especially new tech. That requires balancing top-down strategizing with bottom-up piloting and scaling up.

The CIO in the ‘use case’ (proactive tech) regime has to be incisive and hands-on at the same time; a practical CIO.
