Ramesh Gurram Appointed as Chief Information Security Officer at Bombay Stock Exchange

Ramesh Gurram has been appointed as the Chief Information Security Officer at Bombay Stock Exchange. With over two decades of experience in information security and technology, Ramesh brings a wealth of expertise to this role.

Before joining BSE, Ramesh served as the CISO at Multi Commodity Exchange of India. Prior to that, Ramesh held the position of Chief Information Security Manager at Bank of Baroda, where he led secure digital transformation initiatives, managed compliance, and oversaw the implementation of advanced security solutions. Earlier in his career, at State Bank of India, Ramesh headed digital forensic readiness, data governance, and cybersecurity audits.

Ramesh began his distinguished career in the Indian Air Force, where he spent 20 years leading IT and security operations, disaster recovery strategies, and security audits.
