Terms and Conditions
- Only India based participants (ITDMs / IT professionals only) will be eligible for prizes.
- Employees, and their families, of 9.9 Group and all the sponsors of 22nd Annual CIO&Leader conference, will not be eligible for any prizes.
- Participation in the program is voluntary. However, 9.9 reserves the right to restrict participation or reject a participant’s application which is not in conformity with the contest guidelines.
- All giveaways under the program, irrespective of the value thereof, are classified as prizes under applicable income tax regulations and receipt of such giveaways by the winners will be reported to the income tax authorities accordingly.
- Whenever the value of the prizes, in cash or kind, is in excess of Rs. 10,000 (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) tax would be payable by the winners on the same. 9.9 will gross up for the applicable tax, if any, on prizes and pay the same over to the income tax authorities, on behalf of the winner, in accordance with law. On making it gross up, the amount of prizes will be the value of the prizes plus tax paid thereon by 9.9 which will get added to the income of the recipient to be considered for filing his/her income tax return with income tax authorities.
- To facilitate compliance with income tax regulations, all participants becoming eligible for the prizes, as announced, must submit a copy of their PAN card & Aadhaar card details. The PAN and Aadhaar Card details of the winners will be shared with the income tax authorities at the time of payment of applicable tax by 9.9 on behalf of the winners. Tax will get reflected in the 26 AS of the recipient
- For the winner of the 1st prize: (i) 9.9 will bear the ex-showroom price (as at the authorised Maruti dealer in Noida, UP) of the Maruti Baleno (Sigma Petrol model), as announced in the program communication, on the day of proforma invoice submitted by the car dealer. This amount will be paid by 9.9 Group to the car dealer, as chosen by the winning participant, on behalf of the winning participant, against a proforma invoice. (ii) The difference in cost between the ex-showroom price and the on road cost of the car at the point of delivery including, but not limited to, road tax, insurance, registration charges, extra accessories etc will be payable exclusively by the winner. (iii) The winner has to claim the prize within 30 days of its announcement. (iv) 9.9 Group Pvt. Ltd. will have the right to demand appropriate documents including not limited to copy of final Tax invoice issued by the car dealer to the winner, copy of the RC of the purchased car etc. from the winner for their records, and to share the same with the relevant government authorities if asked to do so.
- Participants may elect to withdraw from the contest upto a period of 48 hours from being declared the winner. In such an event the prize will be awarded to the next successful participant or at the discretion of 9.9 in such manner as may be deemed appropriate.
