UNISOC makes 5G experience accessible to all

 A Counterpoint Research report states that the 5G smartphones have surged to a remarkable 77% share of total smartphone shipments in India during Q2 2024. However, despite the milestone of surpassing 100 million 5G subscribers, the penetration rate remains at just 11%, highlighting significant growth potential in the 5G segment. The processor is crucial in delivering a high-quality and seamless 5G experience.

UNISOC is making its mark in the mid-range and entry-level 5G smartphone categories, priced under $300. As a leading fabless semiconductor company, UNISOC secured a 12% share of global smartphone AP/SoC chip shipments in 2023. UNISOC’s chipsets are incorporated in devices from major brands like Xiaomi, vivo, Samsung, and OPPO.

UNISOC is advancing its 5G technology with its second-generation platform, which includes over ten chip products. The T820 is a standout model, offering high performance, enhanced security, long battery life, and superior connectivity, along with impressive imaging and display capabilities. For mainstream users, the T760 delivers an AnTuTu score of over 510,000 and features UNISOC’s AI algorithms for a rich entertainment experience, while the T750 serves the broader market with effective performance.

The 5G chips are featured in devices across more than 50 countries, with production in key markets including Europe, Latin America, Southeast Asia, and South Asia. In India, recent launches such as the Lava Yuva 5G with the T750 and the HMD Crest/HMD Crest MAX with the T760 offer advanced 5G experiences to local consumers.
